Our detailed evaluation includes analysis of a range of patient abilities and limitations, including:

  • Posture
  • Range-of-motion
  • Strength
  • Gait – observation of abnormalities/ limitations while walking
  • Structure – identification of abnormal alignment/ motion of the spine and pelvic/ shoulder girdles
  • Neuro – screen for nerve involvement
  • Balance – identification of falling risk and/or susceptibility to injuries while playing sports
 At Kinetix, our personalized therapy sessions offer a range of treatment, depending on the patient’s needs:
  • Therapeutic exercises – These activities improve range-of-motion, relieve stress on joints, strengthen muscles and reduce  swelling. Kinetix provides exercises that will foster the patient’s long-term physical well-being, even after discharge from physical therapy.
  • Balance training – Therapy focuses on fall prevention and sport-specific activities.
  • Neuro-muscular – These activities promote muscle re-education or motor learning after a stroke, head trauma or nerve injury.
  • Manual therapy – We are clinically trained in muscle energy, Maitland, Swedish massage, myofascial release,trigger point therapy and craniosacral techniques.
  • Self-care and education – We provide tips on injury prevention in sports, body mechanics, pain management, ergonomics and home exercises.
  • Modalities – Kinetix offers heat, cryotherapy, ultrasound, iontophoresis,  and electrical stimulation.
